Original oil painting on a stretched cotton canvas. “Rising Tide” is 20×16 inches (50.8×40.64) in size, with a 0.7-inch (2 cm) width of the canvas edge. The piece will be varnished, signed, and dated. A certificate of authenticity will be added. The artwork is not framed; the edges are painted in light blue.
For a coastal, relaxing feel to your home interior. I wanted this piece to make me feel a sense of serenity when I look at it. This painting feels quiet and calm. It makes me pause, breathe, and think. It’s familiar enough to feel comforting, but open enough to let my own feelings and memories fill the space. Made from a reference picture I took on a beautiful day at the beach. I hope this painting brings to mind your own favourite beach days and memories whenever you look at it.
